How We Create It
At Padua we place a large emphasis on where our data collection comes from.
Not only do we work with leaders of fields, but we also collaborate with the future leaders. Here are our two main data collection methods:
1) Data uploaded from university students
2) Data collected by our lead researchers and field experts (in process)
The second step in our research process is the reviewing of collected material to deem its credibility and determine if it is able to be utilized by Padua.
After reviewed data has been accepted, it is then stored in Padua's database.
The database is accessible to everyone on the web, however it is not published work yet.
Once data is stored, it may be processed right away, or never be processed. However, data which is stored will always be accessible.
**Think of it as a "micro-publishing" -- still accessible to all, but not officially published.
Information within the database may be accessed at anytime for use by Padua's publishing, research, or media teams.
When data is processed portions of it may be used or the entirety. The processing stage is essentially a second review stage that Padua conducts before publishing.
In finality, after data has been processed for parts or in its entirety, it is published by Padua.
We always cite any information that is published, wherever it may be.
Being published by Padua means that you created, found, or researched data that is of large importance and meaning to both us and the community.
